For IRC/ED this doesn't even seem to be a regular case of rats fleeing the sinking ship.
I've witnessed a good few of their evac carriers shuttling assets to empire.
Seems more like the rats are on fire, the ship is on fire, and the sea is full of drunk russians.

Fair point, why don't you, your entire alliance, and all your blues get annihilated by russians about it?
Further, why don't you lose all your space and go back to highsec mining about it?
Fewer high-end mins than drone compounds, but needs must.
